Environmental Protection Committee
The Environmental Protection Committee is responsible for reviewing proposed exterior changes to homes and properties within the community. This includes updates such as exterior paint color changes, driveway modifications, new fencing, and other visual or structural alterations.
To request approval, please complete and submit the form below prior to beginning any work.
Firewise Committee
Firewise is a national program that promotes defensible space and safe access for homes in forested areas. Communities that follow Firewise practices are far more likely to withstand wildfires.
In our neighborhood, annual stick pick-up and leaf removal play a big role in reducing fire risk. These efforts are partially funded through a yearly Firewise grant, submitted by our community’s Firewise Committee. The committee also shares valuable information with residents—like Mountain Laurel blight. Dead Mountain Laurel, which contains flammable oils, should be removed from properties as a fire safety measure.
We’re currently looking for new Firewise Committee members—join us in keeping our neighborhood safe!
